"We thank you so much for your generosity and thoughtfulness.  Your gifts of bears and hats help us fulfill our mission of offering care, compassion, and hope to families with seriously ill or injured children."

Comfort Sowers

CS Banner.JPG

Comfort Sowers started as a modest “Prayer Shawl” ministry that has grown to become a vibrant ecumenical organization of volunteers and recipients around the country.  We make gifts for people of all ages and stages of life.  Our talented members create a huge variety of items designed to comfort and support anyone in need.  These are made at home on their own schedule, then we meet monthly to gather, celebrate, and pray over all the wonderful gifts. EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO PARTICIPATE, Please feel free to join us.

"Thank you for the quilt. It is beautiful, and nice that you thought of me to help me recover.  I especially appreciate all the prayers.  God bless you as you continue to give comfort to so many people"

Not only do we provide comfort, prayers, and support for the thousands of recipients, there is a special feeling of accomplishment for those that donate fabric and supplies, for those that make the items, and especially those that distribute the gifts to those in need.

We've given away bears, hats, quilts, prayer shawls, port pillows, fidget blankets and more!  These go to injured, sick, abused, or orphaned children; cancer, Alzheimer, and dementia patients; nursing home residents, veterans, homeless, victims of human trafficking, and anyone in need of prayers and comfort.
